Medals and more Frome RFC celebrate their youngest players with a host of awards

On Sunday the Frome RFC Minis & Juniors celebrated the end of the season with their annual Presentation Day.

Mini & Junior Chairman, Garrie Webster kicked off proceedings welcoming all the parents and families to The Lane and paying his thanks for all the hard work his team of Coaches and Volunteers have done throughout the season.

Celebrating the Players, the awards presentation began starting with our youngest age group, the under 6's. Director of Rugby, Cameron Hastie, Senior Head Coach, Toby Culff and Club Captain Alex Mallon were on hand to present each player with a medal before each team presented their awards. With awards going to;

U6's

Most Improved - Finley Pine

Most Improved - Rafe Leak

Player of the Year - Joel Weeks

Players Player - Charlie Loftus & Lucas Halliwell

U8's

Most Improved - Riley Pearn

Player of the Year - Max Griffin

Most Improved - Edison West

Player of the Year - Jamie Tweedle

Players Player - Oscar Robinson

U10's

Most Improved - William Andrews

Player of the Year - Eddie Newbery

Players Player - Dennis Penny

Parents Player - Layla Barraclough

Top Trainer - Jamie landolo

U11's

Most Improved - Olivia Newlands

Player of the Year - Polly Spriggs

U16's

Most Improved - Flyn Brake

Player of the Year - Oliver Marshall

Players Player - Murray White

The final award of the afternoon, the Frome RFC Mini & Junior Club Person of the Year, went to Emma Webster.

Chairman Garrie Webster commented " It was a great day and fantastic way to end a brilliant Season which has seen our membership reach record numbers. I'd like to say Congratulations to all the Award winners and a big thank you to everyone that makes Frome RFC Mini and Juniors such a special place. Looking forward to next season already!"
