Frome ram raid update: Police say they are treating the two town raids as linked

Police have confirmed to Frome Nub News that they are treating two ram raids on two stores this week in Frome as linked.

Officers are appealing for witnesses to today's (November 26) burglary at the Co-op in Badcox.

They said this raid happened at around 3.25 am this morning.

Police confirmed they had been called by a witness and added:

"A vehicle was used to force entry into the store, in Nunney Road.

"Enquiries are ongoing to establish what may have been stolen during the incident. CCTV enquiries will also be conducted.

"Anyone who witnessed what happened, or has information that could help our investigation, is asked to call 101 and give reference number 5221278099."

On 24 November the Spar and Post Office in Rodden Road was hit.

The police added: ""We're investigating a burglary in Frome that happened at approximately 2.30-3am on Wednesday 24 November. "A car was used to gain access to the store, in Rodden Road, and a quantity of alcohol and cigarettes are believed to have been stolen. "Enquiries, including reviewing CCTV footage, are ongoing.
