Frome RFC Academy XV welcomed Sherborne RFC Colts in the Quarter Finals

On Sunday afternoon The Lane played host to Cup Rugby as the Frome RFC Academy XV welcomed Sherborne RFC Colts in the Quarter Finals of the Dorset & Wilts U18 Plate.
We caught up with Academy Coach Andy Vince who commented "It was a fantastic team performance in horrible conditions.
"Our powerful forwards provided a brilliant platform for our backline to work behind.
"We were very dominant in the scrum which allowed us to put pressure on Sherborne at set plays.
"We are really proud of the players today, who showcased some of their best rugby, with plenty to always work on we look forward and to the semi finals."

Player of the Match was awarded to Fly Half Fin Van Gorph and Centre Archie Coleman.
The side now focus on the semi finals where they face Royal Wootton Bassett RFC Colts away on March 3rd.
