The London born athlete was an icon and role model to young fighting fans across the country and remains beloved by his fans to this day. The pinnacle of his career was defeated Oliver McCall at a jam-packed Wembley Stadium in 1995 to become the first British WBC Heavyweight title of the 20th century. Britain rallied behind Bruno as he toured through London with the winning belt on an open top bus that drew hundreds of thousands of fans to cheer and wave at Frank.
