Children's Support Worker - Temp to Perm Opportunities

Do you have some care experience and are looking for a new role?Due to an expansion of Children's Homes in Somerset, we have exciting opportunities available for Support Workers who are looking for a new role or to step into children's services. As a support worker, you will stay with the children in the home for 24- or 48-hour shifts and support them with day-to-day life, including appointments, education, family visits and hobbies. The roles are available as temporary to permanent, which is a great opportunity for you to go in, check you like the service and organisation before committing fully. The likely time would be 3 months before you moved over to them. The homes are specially designed to support children with complex care needs and are multi-occupancy homes. You will be provided with a fantastic training programme and development, where you can have access to gaining NVQ level 3, 4 and 5 and progress into management positions.
