We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician (nights) to join our site maintenance team. As a Maintenance Electrician, your primary responsibility will be to carry out both reactive and pre-planned maintenance works as per the maintenance program. You will be responsible for maintaining aggregate processing equipment and the site facilities to ensure the maximum operational reliability and availability of the plant while ensuring the lowest possible maintenance costs for all equipment.The ideal candidate will have experience in a mineral processing environment or other heavy industry environment, have electrical engineering qualifications, and have a sound understanding of BS 7671:th Edition and Essential Standards.Responsibilities will include:Performing electrical maintenance involving repairs, disassembly, overhaul, assembly, and adjustments of crushing and screening or mobile equipment components.Installing and maintaining electrical equipment/systems per BS 7671:th Edition and other electrical standards/regulationsMaintain proper tool/parts inventory for specified jobsPerform scale and automation checks for aggregate plantsProduce accurate estimates and project costsComplete maintenance projects on time to ensure production goalsMaintain up-to-date written or data input spreadsheets on all equipment repairs using the site CMMS systemEnsure that all equipment repairs are performed accurately to the manufacturer's standardsEnsure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations, as well as company policies and procedures; assist with physical inspections of plant property/departments and immediate reporting of unsafe conditions and/or accidentsTo coach and mentor Electrical ApprenticesWhat's on Offer:Salary £54,340 plus overtimeLocation: Whatley FromeHours: 39.5 hours NightsEmployer of choice: Armed Forces Covenant (Silver) / Disability Confident Committed / 5% Club (Gold) / Mates in Mind / Clear Assured (Foundation) / The Mineral Products and Qualification Council (MPQC) / STEM AmbassadorCompensation Package: Bonus incentives / Generous Pension Schemes up to 15% / Life AssuranceFamily Friendly: Enhanced policies such as Maternity / Paternity / Parental Leave / Neonatal / AdoptionSocial Values: paid Volunteering Day every year / Communities (LGBTQ+, Network of Woman, Woman in Science and Engineering (STEM), Armed Forces)Wellbeing: Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) / Mental Health First Aiders / Cycle to Work / Employee Benefits portal including Gym discount / Free eye tests / Discounted Private Medical cover
