The Frome-based award winning IT support services company Netitude is hosting a webinar on home network security.

The Webinar is on Wednesday, July 8 from 10am - 11am.

With so many online threats, how can you protect your business and client data while working from home? In this Cyber Security based webinar, Virtual IT Director, Michael Hamer will answer your questions and show you how to build the best defence.

During this webinar Michael will discuss three main topics:

  1. Why are you more at risk at home than in the office? If you understand the extra risk then you can make an informed decision on how to respond.
  1. How to improve your home network security A checklist of practical tips, tricks and essential communications to help keep your team secure.
  1. Which tools do your staff need to securely work from home? If working from home is going to become permanent, how do you guarantee that you're doing the most possible to protect your company and client data? You may be asking yourself; do you need a VPN? do staff need laptops? Is it safe to use your own computer or phone for work? We'll cover all of this and more.

Michael has been working in commercial IT for nine years; from helpdesk to IT project management, and solutions architect, Michael is now responsible for many of our clients' IT strategies and is focussed on using technology to support business growth and reduce risk.

Michael has first-hand experience of setting up secure home working solutions for our clients and is excited to share these insights with you, plus tips on what a virtual IT Director does to keep his personal digital life secure.
