Local solicitors Thatcher + Hallam are resuming their free face to face legal surgery today (Thursday 5th May ). The legal surgery was moved to an online, virtual surgery when the COVID pandemic started in March 2020 and has continued that way since. But the team are now looking forward to seeing clients at the legal surgery in person again.

The free surgery, which has been part of what Thatcher + Hallam offer to the local community for just under 40 years, will take place at the Thatcher + Hallam offices, at Island House, Midsomer Norton. Sessions will run every Thursday evening, from 5.00pm - 6.00pm and 15 minutes appointment slots will be available to book.

William Weller, Managing Partner at Thatcher + Hallam said, "We're really pleased we've been able to offer our free legal surgery throughout the pandemic, having quickly made the decision to move it to a virtual service when we first went into lockdown. But we are very happy that we can now move back to the way we used to provide the surgery and see clients in person again, to have an initial discussion about legal queries they might have."

The legal surgery offers people the opportunity to discuss a range of legal matters, including injury compensation claims, matters relating to wills and estates and advice on areas such as family law. The surgery gives people the opportunity to discuss their matter in brief, for free, and to receive an indication of what would need to happen next to take a matter forward. For further details about the free legal surgery , including how to book your free appointment slot, please visit the Thatcher + Hallam website HERE or call 01761 414646.
