Police are asking for witnesses and information after a burglary in Castle Street, Frome.

It happened between 8.30pm and 9pm on Friday 29 November. The thieves removed a first floor window and stole a cash from the home of a woman in her 70s.

Officers are keen to hear from anyone who saw anyone acting suspiciously in the area at the time. It's not clear how the thief got up to the window. If you have noticed a ladder or other means of access having been moved or taken.
