Eight Stony Street is a wine bar, shop and all-day dining spot in Frome.

The founder, Kent Barker, is not only a huge wine devotee, but also a great fan of history, especially the history of the Second World War. Therefore he has helped organise many a tour abroad indulging in these two passions.

His next tour is entitled The Gothic Line and runs between September 27 and 30. There are a few final places left so if you're interested do get in touch.

This is a unique tour which not only includes visits to the some of the best-preserved battlefields of the Italian campaign, but also passes through some of the most beautiful countryside of Tuscany and Emilia Romagna.

While winding through that countryside the tour group will, of course, indulge in some hidden gems - gorgeous restaurants and wineries.
