An exciting 1-day workshop that leads you through the senses that we feel, and the emotions that we have for sight, hearing, smell, touch and taste. 

We will explore the things we do that make us want to paint, like walking through nature, walking past a church, cooking dinner, talking to friends, the sight of a beautiful sunset, or the feel of sharp waves on your back!

We will look at contemporary artists and how they use colour to create a mood. 

Make a connection and be in the present with your art, and, come and explore 'Sensory Art' and how we can relate it to contemporary art and ourselves. 

Paint on silk, different fabrics, paper and canvas with watercolour, acrylics and silk paint in a calm, friendly environment. You may wish to write a poem to accompany your painting.

There is an additional charge of £15 for materials.
