Develop a landscape of rolling fields full of texture and pattern in watercolour. 

Bring your own source photo and be introduced to 'gravity painting' using tubed paint and lifting off techniques to take home a colourful 'masterpiece'. 

Watch Catherine Beale demonstrate tips on composition, pooling paint in water to merge colours and plan sharply contrasting edges. Try using salt and clingfilm to create a ploughed field from textured washes before 'lifting-off' furrows and adding sharp detail. The session ends with a review and troubleshooting techniques to take home.
