Have you ever wondered how a Tiny Forest benefits your community? Find out how by attending your local Tiny Forest Community Science Event!

We'd love for you to come and join us so together we can understand more about the environmental and social benefits that your Tiny Forest brings to the community here in Egford Lane Park.

Over the course of the day, you will learn about:

• Wildlife in the forest including butterflies, bees, and bugs!
• How trees can capture and store carbon from the air we breathe
• The forest's ability to store water
• The cooling benefits of the trees

So please come along, enjoy a day immersed in nature and take part in hands-on research.

Refreshments will not be provided on the day so please bring some water and some lunch if you intend on spending the whole day with us.

Outdoor shoes and clothing are advised. If you have gardening gloves please bring these with you too.

Please also bring a phone or tablet along with you in order to use our online science surveys. We will have printed copies on the day too if that's not possible.
