Future Shed Training: How to run a small event or workshop, with Sue Palmer

A Future Shed Training session aimed at people wanting to run a workshop or event (for ages 16+)

What you will learn:

  • how to organise your content, and what to focus on
  • structuring and planning, timings and scheduling
  • communciations, publicity and marketing including ticketing
  • participants and audiences
  • thinking through inclusivity
  • what you need to know about insurance and risk assessments
  • policies that you need in place, including safeguarding
  • including climate, wellbeing and the environment in your thinking
  • managing problems
  • documentation, evaluation and follow-up

Who is this for:

  • anyone in Frome and surrounding communities who is connected to Green & Healthy Frome.
  • ages 16+

This training session will aim to give you a good 'how to' grounding.

Come to Edventure's Hub for a 7pm start.

Future Shed is part of Green & Healthy Frome, a partnership programme of Edventure Frome, Frome Medical Practice and Frome Town Council taking action on health and climate funded by the National Lottery's Climate Action Fund.
