The £4.8 billion Levelling Up Fund has been announced. The Round 2 successful bids have now been announced with the closest announcement to Frome, a pub in Marlborough which is being supported in a bid to re-open via a Community Ownership Fund.

The government has supported 216 projects so far.

Weston super Mare has been awarded just shy of £20 million - £19,979,570  - for a new community park and improving the sea front and transforming the Tropicana. One South West disappointment, Swindon did not get £8 million it had hoped to get in order to regenerate the Oasis swimming centre.
