What's on Frome this coming weekend and its all lights and action with a Night Market for extra delight

What's on in Frome and its THE big night on Friday.

The annual Christmas Lights Switch On from 5pm-7pm on Friday 24th November - Road closures will be in place from 4pm, so anyone planning to attend is asked to walk to the event if possible. The Cattle Market, Merchants Barton and Vicarage Street car parks will remain open to enable people to park until they are full. The Cork Street taxi rank will be relocated to Saxonvale, alongside the pedestrian entrance to the Kingsway, and buses and coaches will be diverted so please look out for the signs on relevant bus stops.

As well as the lights and lanterns there will be a little Night Market, part of the Frome Independent. a capsule market to the Market Yard, from 4pm - 8:30pm. So that is outside the Frome Library from 4pm and grab a bite to eat before enjoying the magic of the Light the Night lantern parade and the switch on.

Also on this Friday in Frome:

Families, fathers and faith. Authors, Lily Dunn & Ali Millar in conversation about their respective memoirs, Sins of My Father and The Last Days.

Lily and Ali will be discussing their memoirs, the experiences that led them to write, answering questions and reading from their books. Both writers experienced the disappearance and reappearance of their fathers, At the Archangel details HERE

This wonderful Frome artist will be at the Night Market - Phoebe Phillips of Twofold Print Studios. Her pop pieces are quite wonderful. This was her with some of her work at the last Frome Indie market.
