The Frome RFC U7's we're keeping warm and looking great on a chilly Sunday morning when they were presented with their new VX-3 Training Jackets, which were kindly sponsored by Bath Vets - a huge thank you to them.
The first half started with Frome playing up the famous Marlborough hill, and the home side put pressure on Frome from the kick off.
Seven minutes in the home side managed to take a scrum against the head inside the Frome 22 and managed to crash over the line.
Frome welcomed old rivals Combe Down RFC to 'The Lane' hoping to put the previous week's disappointment to league leaders Grove behind them.
Frome started strongly with Forwards and Backs carrying strongly making inroads into the opposition half.

The Frome 3rd XV were back in league action this week as they travelled to Chard RFC, and although winning earlier in the season Frome knew this would be another tough encounter.
It was the hosts that started better with some strong attack but Frome were able to hold out the early pressure.
Frome RFC welcomed Trowbridge RFC to the Lane, on a windy wet Saturday afternoon.
Frome started well and it was clear that this would be a tight battle. The home sides defence held well with strong tackling from the Back Row pairing of Will Button and James Milton, whilst in attack No.8 Stevan Randall was making his trademark runs from the scrum.

Frome RFC travelled to Grove RFC looking to close the gap on the league leaders and despite the long coach journey and facing the stiff breeze started the stronger.
The visiting Forwards and Backs combined well to carry the ball into the opposition half however after twenty minutes the home side took the lead. Grove were awarded a penalty in their own half which with the wind behind them kicked to deep into Frome's 22. They then set up a rolling maul to score the first try.
The Frome RFC U9's were in action on Sunday when they welcome Melksham RFC to the Lane.
A fantastic display of skill in attack and superb defence was shown by both sides.
It was six of the best when Frome Town Women took on a depleted Swindon side at their first home game of the season at Badgers Hill.
Plenty of mud, plenty of action as the players outpaced and outplayed Swindon Supermarine in the South West League.

The manager of Frome Town has said it will be a valuable rest time for the team ahead of a critical game next week.
In a nailbiting game which went to penalties The Robins made it through the quarter final of the League Challenge cup after beating Swindon Supermarines at the Wiltshire ground. As an extra sweetener the winning penalty came from the captain Sam Teale.
