On 7 September Frome Museum will once again be participating in the annual UK-wide Heritage Open Days programme, with three free events.
Mike Bishop, who retired last year after 17 years as Frome's town crier, will be talking about the history of the town crier tradition and his own life as a crier.
We will also be running two of our ever-popular Behind the Scenes tours of the museum.
The tours include the museum's vaulted basement stores, the elegant cantilevered staircase, the Library and Collections Room, and the main galleries.
All the events are available to book now. They are free of charge and open to all, but numbers will be limited and tickets will be required to attend.
Donations will be much appreciated.
