After ten years of trading, the mobile phone and electronic shop on Cheap Street will be closing at the end of the month, but the manager is keen to stress that has NOTHING to do with coronavirus.

Quite the opposite, running the retail side is proving a distraction to his increasing work on repairing and saving mobiles and computers.

So he is closing up the shop, and moving the business completely on line, with deliveries of repairs FREE across all of Frome.

Peter Marriott told Nub News that from October 30 customers will need to contact him directly for all their mobile phone and PC repairs.

"The problem in the shop was that dealing with customers, however lovely, would interrupt repair work. So the lease was up and I decided it was time to move on."

Peter is particularly proud of his value for money approach to repairs, everything increasing the life span of a mobile by putting in a new battery, to saving a water damaged Macbook. " The customer was quoted two thousand pounds - I did it for two hundred pounds, " he told Nub News proudly.

"If I can get the part, I can repair it. That's my promise."

You can contact the repair service via Whats App on 07522 673009 or via their web site HERE : the PhoneCell mobile site
