Frome Independent returns and the town is buzzing

The Frome Independent came back into town with a bang on September 5, with massive crowds, a record-breaking skittle attempt, a market in the Cheese & Grain AND countless artisan stalls.
The town was packed, particularly at lunchtime as the crowds enjoyed local food stalls such as Tibetian Memories and a grill hosted by Penleigh Butchers, alongside food from further field including, according to some inexact counting from Nub News, the most-popular eaterie offering Mac n'Cheese.
The main street of Frome was closed to traffic with a huge number of craft and artisan work, while the car park at the Cheese & Grain was home to many vintage and antique stalls.
The return of the Frome Independent, which bills itself as More Than A Market, came after a hugely successful smaller Night Market, with only a few stall, earlier in the summer in just the car park of the Cheese & Grain.
It will now be held on the first Sunday of the month.
