Strike action takes place on Tuesday 30 January and rail customers are being told they should only travel if absolutely necessary, avoiding the first and last trains of the day if possible

An overtime ban will be in place on Monday 29, and from Wednesday 31 January to Tuesday 6 February, with short-notice cancellations and alterations likely

Specifically SWR which runs through Frome will be running a severely reduced service on a limited number of lines. Trains will only run between:

  • London Waterloo and Basingstoke
  • London Waterloo and Feltham via Twickenham
  • London Waterloo and Guildford
  • London Waterloo and Woking
  • Basingstoke and Salisbury

For Great Western Railway the other company which runs out of Frome, they say please check their web site for details
