Frome Medical Practice WILL be open today (Good Friday) and Easter Monday, from 8am to 6.30pm. As a result of the coronavirus pandemic they have temporarily suspended the online appointment service so speak to a member of the team on 01373 301301.

They will NOT be open on Easter Saturday or Easter Sunday

The Practice is also encouraging anyone who wants more information and advice on coronavirus to call the Somerset Coronavirus Support line - which includes emotional and mental health support. On 0300 790 6275 . Everyday from 8am to 6pm

UPDATES:

Rye Bakery is now only baking Wed-Saturday, although it is open on Tuesdays for delivery of fresh groceries, as it expands the range on offer from its bakery site near Frome railway station.

If you work for the NHS, a free hot drink from Parsons Bakery in Badcox which is open 7-2 today (Friday) , 8-2 (Saturday) and closed Sunday and Monday.

Not Just Pets Frome the independent pet food shop is still open - serving at the door - or free delivery for. £20 spend if possible but they say please ring if you're stuck and they will do their best to help. SK Fruits in Frome is currently still open with fresh fruit and vegetables, but strict limits to how many allowed in the shop.

A reminder that the Frome Food Bank is open Monday, Wednesday and Friday 10-1.00pm at the back of the Town Hall, that will include today Good Friday and Easter Monday. People must have referrals from relevant agencies such as via a social worker or the Citizens Advice Bureau.

Asda supermarket will be closed on Easter Sunday, but is open today and then on Saturday and on Monday from 8 am until 8pm.

M&S SIMPLY FOOD: 8.30am-7pm (and limiting all numbers into the shop) First hour Tuesdays and Fridays for NHS/carers)

M&S at the BP Garage, open 24/7 all year

McCOLL'S (Rodden Road): 7am-10pm (new hours from Monday)

McCOLL'S (Vallis Way): 7 am- 10 pm (new hours from Monday)

SAINSBURY'S: 8am-8 pm (7.30am- 8am for NHS/social care workers. 8am-9am Monday, Wednesday and Friday for the elderly)

TESCO EXPRESS: 7am-10pm

The Polish Shop Kasia on Christchurch Street West, is open Monday to Saturday 10-6pm and Sundays 10-4 pm.
