Frome's Catherine Hill in fight to be named Somerset's favourite road - but right now the top is closed

Travel Somerset has started a social media poll to name the best road in Somerset - and Frome's photo friendly Catherine Hill is in the running.
They already have one semi-finalist, Vicars' Close, in Wells which edged out the country's oldest residential road Porlock Hill with 54% of the vote.
However the Hill in Frome may not get many votes from drivers today (May 6) as it is closed off with diversions in place for water and sewer engineering works, and is likely to stay that way for a week.
Catherine Hill has been closed in an emergency road closure which is expected to last until 12th May.
These works are for Wessex Water to construct a manhole and carry out sewer repairs.
Ahead of Somerset Day on May 11 Travel Somerset is running the poll to discover Somerset's most-loved street.
